Grandfathers

Grandfathers are a special breed
Of kinfolk, all their own.
They love you and hug you,
And spoil you to death.
And then, they send you home.

Being a good person is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all of the yucky stuff -- including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a bright new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

Today I Smiled

Today I smiled, and all at once
Things didn't look so bad.
Today I shared with someone else,

Our Little Grand Daughter is Becoming A Young Lady

Our grand daughter has grown so much this year, she has been like a sponge during this school year.

She has excelled in all of her studies and we have been so amazed at what she has covered in the third grade. She has learned all of her multiplication tables,she has learned fractions and division in math.

Her reading skills have advanced so much that she has gone to bigger books for fifth grade readers.

This year she played on her school soccer team and sh had so much fun that she can't wait until next season to play again. She has also added gymnastics to her routine to help become more limber to go with her speed. She loves to run and as soon as she is old enough she wants to run track like her dad did.
